How it all started

My name is Lisa Diep. I was born in Vietnam in 1975 and immigrated to Canada when I was 13 years old. I am married and have a 17 year old son named Ethan and a dog named Roku who is four years old.

English is my second language and was very difficult to learn when I was 13 years old. I still feel like I’m learning and have an accent when I speak it. Learning different languages is good. I also speak Chinese Cantonese. My dad is Chinese but was raised in Vietnam where he met my mom who is Vietnamese.

When I was 22 years old I went to hair school to become a hairdresser. I always wanted to have my own salon and create my own product line that I could sell in my salon. I was working for a salon for a few years when my dad got sick, so I started working from home so I could care for him. Life got so busy while working full time, caring for my dad and raising my son that I forgot I had a dream to have my own products.

I have been a hairdresser for 22 years now and thought my dream would never happen. I thought it would be a very hard thing to do, until two years ago when the world shut down and everything stopped because of COVID. While sitting on the sofa one day I thought; I can’t do hair forever, so I better think of something else to do. I decided to take a course on how to sell on Amazon. It took me a year to complete the course and I currently have a few products available on Amazon. Then I thought about having my own brand. I did some research and started creating my own beauty products. It currently includes hair cream and skin care that is 100% organic, handmade, and chemical free.

Throughout the years of working as a hairdresser in a dry climate, I saw many clients with very dry and damaged hair. My clients would show me their dry hands, dry feet, and dry skin (even eczema). During my research I found a product that is unique. It is 100% grass-fed and grass finished Tallow. I experimented until I found the right combination of organic ingredients to combine with the Tallow to create my beauty products. I gave samples to my clients to try and they all loved them. The hand cream is very moisturizing and easily absorbs into their skin; and the hair cream makes their hair very soft, shiny and decreases frizz.

My mission is to help people with dry skin feel better. My beauty products improve the symptoms of dry, chapped skin and eczema, reducing itching and discomfort so they can have a good and happy life without pain. The hair cream provides vitamins to the hair so they will no longer have bad hair days. Their hair will always feel and look healthy and beautiful. I’m here to serve people that need my help and if there anything I can do I will be happy to do it.
